Marketing News
Your ad scripts don’t resonate.
The best ad scripts don’t sound like ads. They sound like real people sharing real experiences.
Here’s the difference between brand-speak and authentic messaging 👇
❌ Inauthentic Script:
“Our fragrance will make you irresistible. Compliments will come from everywhere.”
“We prioritise quality and use ingredients that target spots and blemishes.”
What’s wrong?
It’s generic.
It’s vague.
It sounds like a brand talking at the customer, not to them.
✅ Authentic Script:
“Whenever I wear this, I get compliments left, right, and centre.”
“I tried so many fragrances, but this one is top of my list.”
“This cleared up my spots in 2 days – I couldn’t believe it.”
What works?
-It’s real language customers actually use. (taken directly from Reddit)
-It’s specific – real experiences and outcomes.
-It feels like a recommendation from a friend, not a sales pitch.
Real customers write the best ad scripts.

🚨Your ad was dead on arrival
Here's why:
1) You had bad lighting. Lighting is one of the biggest make or breaks for a great ad. Don't bother launching your ad if the lighting is bad!
2) Your ad listed out features instead of focusing on a problem/solution narrative. No one cares about product features! They will go to your website to get the specs.
3) Your ad was too long. Focus on the key message in 30 seconds or less, and get rid of the rest. No one wants to sit through a speech.
